Singing for Health and Pleasure was created 10 years ago by Simon Gray, Robert Anthony Blass, Corinne Blass and Showtime Brighton.

We sing every Thursday at 2 pm at Patcham Methodist Church in Ladies Mile Road, Brighton. It’s a lovely hall with ample ventilation, comfortable seating, clean and COVID secure. There is a car park behind the hall for easy access.

We currently have 27 ladies and 3 men in our group, mainly from Portslade, Hove and Brighton, and we are always ready to welcome new members.

It is extremely friendly and many close long-term friendships have been formed and maintained through membership to Singing for Health and Pleasure.

There is no need to read music as we sing from song sheets and mini tablets which have 500 songs, from Broadway and the West End and more.

Our musical director Simon Gray plays keyboard and leads the group singing.

No upper age limit and no audition required – everyone welcome!
